Kinderdijk and Rotterdam City
Kinderdijk is a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its windmills. The Kinderdijk is located in a region where everything lies below sea level and to make sure the polders are dry, the locals build windmills which was used to keep the water away and stay dry. The windmills date back to the 18th century and a must-visit in The Netherlands.
Rotterdam: High rise buildings, Modern grand bridges, State of the art transport system, the Rotterdam cityscape, filled with modern architecture, is a sharp contrast to Amsterdam. Attractions include Markthal, a stunning piece of architecture and contains a huge array of shops, stalls, restaurants, and bars. Home to the largest port in Europe, a boat tour in Rotterdam is a great way to see the ports and harbour of Rotterdam.
